First Church of The Resurrection

When Outstand Brand was approached by the pastor at First Church of The Resurrection, I was thrilled to get on board with this project. The phrase that kept coming up throughout the process was, "Ancient, Modern Aesthetic." We brought in elements of gothic architecture, Celtic influences, and local iconography to create something completely fresh and renewed for a church named for the process of re-birth and renewed life.

How I helped

Logo Design

Created a timeless icon design incorporating multiple local and historic influences and images.

Branding

Created a color palette with mockup examples so key stakeholders in the project could see how their brand might look "in the wild." Built a slide deck to present the inspiration and process to the church congregation.

Signage

Designed interior signage that conveyed the story of the organization as well as a mockup of exterior signage.

Web Design

Rebuilt the organization's website from the ground-up. Even when their former web platform and host experienced a major loss of data, we were able to get a new landing page up with sermons and info within hours.
