See it liveWe worked with Ability Ministry to create a one-of-a-kind experience through Disability Is Beautiful. Their vision was to create a stock photo site along the lines of Unsplash or Pexels that helps to change the negative narrative surrounding disability. They were a complete joy to work alongside, and I'm super proud of how this turned out.
How I helped
Website Development
We crafted page copy, drafted page mockups, and wrote custom code to help create one of the first-ever stock photo sites for the disability community.
Hosting Infrastructure
We helped provide not only web hosting but also full Content Delivery Network (CDN) and image offloading to Amazon Web Services. The goal was for stock photos to be viewed, uploaded, and downloaded fast and reliably for every user.
Branding
We helped create a visual identity that would represent the heart of what Disability Is Beautiful is trying to do. They're out to change the narrative, and so highlighting how each individual shines was part of the thought process and strategy in forming their visual brand.
